Earvin Corpuz


Earvin has been racing endurance events for over 20 years.  His passion for training and drive to succeed has helped him compete in all distances from 5K runs to Full Marathons, Sprint Triathlons to Ironman races and short course XC Mountain Bike racing.  His current goal includes the Xterra Off-Road Triathlon scheduled to compete in the Summer of 2018. 

Earvin is an Electrical Engineer by trade with a MBA.  In addition,  he holds certifications with USA Triathlon Coaching, USA Cycling Coaching, NASM Certified Personal Training, and Slowtwitch Certified Bike Fitting.  Utilizing his Science-based background and project management skills, his athletes have taken advantage of his unique coaching style.  With the premise that no athletes are alike, Earvin approaches each athlete with a detailed analyses before building their program. Understanding the details of each athlete allows a more efficient training strategy to be generated with no wasted hours.  An approach that results in a decreased risk to injury and an increase to performance.

The training methods developed have been a culmination of working and studying in multiple styles of strength and conditioning programs, sport specific training protocols, and utilizing his personal experience as an endurance athlete.  The methods have proved to help his athletes achieve their sport-specific goals while building confidence and motivation.  A recipe that allows them to continue to race each year.
